1. Introduction & about us

Welcome to our website. This site is operated by Rishi's Vision, a registered charity in England and Wales under charity registration number 1152192. Our registered office is at Sunrise House, 140 East Parade, Bradford, BD1 5BP.

By accessing and browsing this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. If you disagree with any part of them, you must discontinue using our website immediately.

2. Intellectual property rights

Unless otherwise stated, we own the intellectual property rights for all material, text and media published on this website.

  • Allowed use: you may view, download and print pages for personal, educational or non-commercial use only.
  • Prohibited use: you must not republish, sell, rent or sub-license material from this website without our explicit written consent.

3. Acceptable use policy

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of anyone else.

  • No damage: you must not use this site in any way that causes damage, disruption or impairment of its availability.
  • Malicious software: you must not use this website to copy, store, host or transmit viruses or other malicious software.

4. Membership rules

Rishi's Vision is a membership-based organisation. Membership requires an annual contribution of £50.00, processed securely via PayPal. All membership proceeds go directly toward supporting the education and empowerment of underprivileged girls.

Membership privileges. Valid annual members are entitled to:

  • Access to special group sessions with a spiritual master during UK visits.
  • Selected CDs of talks and bhajans, distributed physically at events.
  • Opportunities to help organise local satsangs, retreats and other events.
  • Eligibility to join regular group meetings in your local city.
  • Formal invitations to Rishi's Vision events raising awareness and funds for underprivileged girls.

Cancellations & fees: membership can be cancelled at any time through your profile or by emailing us. As the annual fee is treated as an immediate charitable operational contribution, membership fees are strictly non-refundable once paid.

Account security: members are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure. Sharing a profile, or using a membership account to solicit other members for commercial purposes, is prohibited and will result in immediate termination of access without a refund.

5. Event bookings & the deposit method

We run residential and non-residential courses in yoga and meditation, and accept voluntary donations directly into our charity bank account. All online registrations and payments are processed securely via PayPal — we do not store or see your financial card details.

The deposit method: the total fee for any paid course consists of a non-refundable booking deposit (25% of the total) and the course balance. The deposit is used immediately to secure venue hire and cover unrecoverable PayPal transaction surcharges. You may email us for further information about our courses.

6. Course cancellations & refund policy

Because we incur upfront, non-refundable costs when organising events, the following tiered terms apply if a participant cancels:

More than 28 days before the start dateFull refund of balance*
Between 14 and 28 days before50% refund of balance*
Less than 14 days beforeNo refund

*The booking deposit element always remains non-refundable.

Cancellation by the charity (force majeure): if a course must be cancelled or postponed due to events outside our control — venue closures, extreme weather, instructor illness — the charity cannot be held liable for your travel or accommodation costs. We will issue a credit voucher for a rescheduled date; if a refund is requested, it is issued minus the non-refundable deposit.

7. Event catering notice

All meals provided during our residential and non-residential courses are strictly vegetarian.

Because we serve a fixed menu, we do not collect individual dietary data and are unable to cater to individual dietary variations, allergies or specific restrictions. If you have severe allergies, please contact us by email to discuss your safety before booking.

8. Course dress code & attire

To maintain a focused, respectful and harmonious environment, all participants must follow our attire guidelines:

  • Meditation classes: a white robe and white trousers, to foster a shared sense of equality and deep focus.
  • Yoga classes: loose, comfortable clothing of any colour that allows a full, unrestricted range of movement.

On-site purchases: if you do not own a white robe or trousers, we sell these at our event stall. Payment can be made in cash or securely on the day using our SumUp card reader.

9. Health disclaimer & physical injury waiver

Yoga and physical meditation postures involve inherent risks of strain or injury. By registering for our courses, you explicitly agree to the following:

  • Assumption of risk: you voluntarily assume all physical risks associated with participation.
  • Personal responsibility: you agree to move within your comfort limits, choose appropriate variations, and stop immediately if you experience pain or discomfort.
  • Medical clearance: you confirm you are fit to practise, or have obtained clearance from a qualified healthcare professional. Our instructors give general guidance, not medical advice.

Limitation of liability: Rishi's Vision, its trustees and instructors accept no liability for injuries, medical complications or damages sustained during our courses, except where such liability cannot be lawfully excluded under the laws of England and Wales (such as injury arising directly from proven organisational negligence).

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal disputes arising in connection with this website or our organisation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
